About me

My name is Vicki and I live in a small village just outside Wisbech with my husband, Si, our 5 dogs and various other animals.

I've always had a love of animals. I've done voluntary work for the RSPCA and CARES Animal Hospice. I spent over a year working as a vet nurse and now work as a dog trainer for a local dog club where I currently run my own local pet obedience classes and we also do fun flyball and agility classes too. We've recently started fostering dogs too and you can read more about our current foster Ted, on his page.

I spend a lot of time training our own dogs as we compete in agility, obedience and breed. More recently I've started learning about TalkingDogsRally.. Most weekends throughout the season are taken up with shows, especially since we upgraded our tent for a caravan. We've also had a dabble in flyball, sheepdog training and working trials so they certainly keep us busy.

In 2007 I started running a home based small animal rescue rehoming animals such as hamsters, gerbils, degus, rats, mice and other similar small animals. However, due to time restrictions I've since given that up but I do have several contacts if need be.
